History
How we started?

The beginnings of our company date back to 1957, when Anton and Marija Horjak started a simple trade in Domžale. In 1961 we moved to a new house in Rodica near Domžale. With the acquisition of new premises our activity extended to simple turning, milling and pressing of products for the machine industry as well as decorative additions in the metal haberdashery. In 1971 this spread of activity lead to building a new workshop next to the residential house.
The new workshop enabled us further growth as well as a decision to cooperate more seriously with other Slovenian companies. By 1979 we ceased to work at some spheres of machine processing and focused exclusively on turning and milling of demanding products small and medium series.
The official establishment of the Horjak-Precise Company.

With the establishment of the »HORJAK-PRECISE« Company DOMŽALE in 1990 and with the discontinuation of trade and closing of the Slovenian companies with which we had been cooperating, the company had to face up to new challenges.
Soon we began to establish direct contacts with European companies (mostly in Austria and Germany) in the field of machine, above all CNC, processing of products according to customer’s requirements.
Successful expansion into new (European) markets
In 1995, considering a remarkably larger market than we were confronted with before (Europe) and the significantly rising needs for machine capacities, it was essential to start investing vigorously in the machine equipment. We mainly started establishing our position in the industry of breaks for rail and road vehicles, the production of cylinders and spare parts for printing presses, the production of mechanical products in fine optical and medical appliances and components in the vacuum industry.
In all of these activities we have become recognized as the leading supplier of precise machine components.

Building a new modern business complex
In May 2005, as the lack of space in the old facilities had become a notable problem and had even started to imperil the company’s further activities, we started building a new building measuring 6,000 m2, where we moved in March 2006. Nowadays, our company employs on average 80 workers.
We offer to all of our employees dynamic work in fully equipped production facilities on computer-controlled machinery supported by the most modern CAD/CAM software.
